Product Manager (UI/UX) - Fresher/Junior
About the role
Filum builds AI-native CX products used by real customers every day. We're hiring a Fresher/Junior Product Manager with a strong UI/UX instinct to help design and ship the experiences on our customer-facing platform. (We're also an AI-native company internally — we build our own internal tools to make our own product/ops work easier — but this role is squarely about the external product our customers use.)
This is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a spec doc. You'll spend most of your time talking to and observing our actual customers and end-users — understanding their workflows, frustrations, and unmet needs — and translating that empathy into clean, usable interfaces.
What you'll do
- Talk to and observe real customers/end-users of Filum's product to deeply understand how they work today and where the friction is.
- Turn user research into simple, well-structured product requirements and UX flows for the customer-facing product.
- Partner closely with engineering and design to ship fast — this is a small, dynamic, AI-native team where ideas go from insight to shipped feature quickly.
- Sweat the UX details: information architecture, empty states, error states, onboarding flows — the small things that make a product feel great to use.
- Continuously talk to users post-launch to validate whether the shipped experience actually solved their problem, and iterate.
- Use AI tools day-to-day (for research synthesis, prototyping, spec-writing) as a default way of working, not a novelty.
What we're looking for
- Genuine empathy for users — you'd rather sit with someone and watch them struggle through a workflow than guess what they need.
- Strong UI/UX sensibility: you notice bad interfaces, you can explain why they're bad, and you have opinions about what "good" looks like.
- Eager to learn and grow fast — comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where processes are still being built.
- Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude, prototyping assistants, etc.) as part of your daily workflow.
- 0–2 years of experience — fresh graduates with strong self-driven projects, a design/PM internship, or a portfolio showing user-centered thinking are very welcome to apply.
- Bonus: familiarity with Figma, basic wireframing/prototyping, or a track record of shipping something (a side project, a student project, freelance work) end to end.
Why join Filum
- Work on real products used by real customers every day — you'll see your work's impact immediately, not months later.
- Small, dynamic, AI-native team — no bureaucracy, fast decisions, direct access to leadership.
- Own meaningful scope early — this is a foundational hire on the product function, not a cog role.
- A culture that treats AI as a default tool, not an add-on — you'll build with it, not just talk about it.
